The Nigerian Education system is known for its slow academic calendars no thanks to Asuu strike, internal school strike etc.

Note that: This is not the official list and it can be criticised but it was thoroughly researched by our research team. Some of these schools are not under the Asuu governing body.

Here we bring to you the list of universities in Nigeria with the fastest academic calendars.

5. Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University

Chukwuemeka odumegwu ojukwu university formerly known as Anambra state university was established in the year 2000.

The university has a fast academic calendar though they are under Asuu.

The State university is known to finish at least two semesters in a year.

4. Covenant University

Covenant university is a private Christian university in Nigeria. It was established on October 21, 2002 in Ota, Ogun state.

It is known to be one of the leading universities in Nigeria as it is rated highly amongst various organizations.

The University is not under the Asuu governing body because it is a private university therefore they are not known for strikes (both internal and external).

It is known for its fast academic calendar.

3. University Of Ilorin

Unilorin is a Federal government owned university in Nigeria located in Ilorin, kwara state. It was established in August, 1975.

The federal university is said to have one of the largest landmass in the whole of West Africa.

Unilorin which has over 60 academic departments in 10 faculties is the only Federal university in Nigeria that is not a member of the Asuu governing body.

It operates a very fast academic calendar. It is not under the Asuu governing body. It is the undisputed No.1 fastest university in Nigeria. It usually covers about 3 to 4 semester in a year.
